I’m beginning to wonder if each house we live in should get a name rather than a number. House #1 was a series of bad-decision-trailers that leaked, lacked AC, and had way to much hidden mold (the trailers have thus been named Squib and Honkey). House #2 was our duplex in Michigan, located next to the “Doggy Styles” pet boarding and grooming business that kept us up at night and woke us up too early on Saturday mornings with incessant barking. House #2 has been given the title Chateau Levrette. This week, we officially moved into House #3, an apartment in Columbia, medium in size with a pool and a fitness center. No name yet for the new apartment, but I’m sure we’ll come up with one as soon as we learn all of its quirks. Continue reading “The Reinhard Chronicles: House #3”
One of the best parts about working at a camp is that it allows you to meet some pretty amazing and creative people. Oh my goodness.
August has been a roller coaster of emotional highs and lows that have kept me stressed-out and exhausted. On top of all of this, on top of all my looming depression and my impending loss of sanity, there was something else this month that topped all the other stressful things in my life.
We are moving! Continue reading “The Reinhard Chronicles: Next Steps”
So usually around this time I do a Finds & Faves where I share some of my favorite finds of the internet. It’s a collection of bits and bobs that I find crazy cool and cheap-ish prices (we all know how broke we are, and it’s no fun when people push expensive products. “$12.00 for shipping?? I guess I didn’t really need that shirt…”). Today I’m sharing 6 sets of earrings that are my absolute favorite, and for the most part, are incredibly low priced. I also shamelessly used this post as a chance to take some sweet photos of my freshly dyed hair. If you haven’t been paying attention, I’m rocking an orange, pink, and purple fade now, and the green is looooooooong gone. (I realize now that the green was a mistake. I promise to never do it again.) Here we go! Continue reading “My 6 Favorite Earrings”
