I’d like to introduce you to the newest addition to our family. Everyone, this is Bunt Cat.Continue reading
Last year, my goal was to Bullet Journal for a whole year. And it was a great year! I feel like I grew as an artist, and became a better over all planner and journal keeper. But now, it’s a new year, and I’m ready to try something different. Something new. So this year, I’ll be using the Law of Attraction Planner by Freedom Mastery.Continue reading
A great thing about the new year is that it almost forces us to take into account of what we’ve accomplished over the last 365 days, as well as looking forward to the next year making new plans. Well, 2018 is over, and a new year has dawned. If you remember from last year, one of my goals for 2018 was to spend the year bullet journaling. In my own words: “I love lists, but usually I have them on seventy million random scraps of paper. I want to try and keep them all together in one collected place. I already am pretty great about meal planning, so the bullet journal is also another way to keep all the things together.” Continue reading “A Year of Bullet Journaling in Review”
Here I am, back again with some more of my finds and favorites for this month. With fall (ever so slowly) creeping in, I’ve been thinking a lot about cold weather, and wishing it would arrive in the south sometime soon. As per usual, I don’t like recommending overpriced items to my readers. If it’s not something I can afford to buy, why would I expect you to? Continue reading “September Finds & Faves”
Ok, it’s about to get real honest up in here for a second, so buckle your seatbelts and hang on for dear life. Today, I’m talking about the dreaded, green eyed jealousy monster, the perfectly framed, the ever clean, the just-enough-throw-pillows-to-look-like-a-cloud, the Pinterest Perfect House. Continue reading “A Pinterest Perfect House”
So usually around this time I do a Finds & Faves where I share some of my favorite finds of the internet. It’s a collection of bits and bobs that I find crazy cool and cheap-ish prices (we all know how broke we are, and it’s no fun when people push expensive products. “$12.00 for shipping?? I guess I didn’t really need that shirt…”). Today I’m sharing 6 sets of earrings that are my absolute favorite, and for the most part, are incredibly low priced. I also shamelessly used this post as a chance to take some sweet photos of my freshly dyed hair. If you haven’t been paying attention, I’m rocking an orange, pink, and purple fade now, and the green is looooooooong gone. (I realize now that the green was a mistake. I promise to never do it again.) Here we go! Continue reading “My 6 Favorite Earrings”
It’s no secret I haven’t been doing great lately. The ole depression is kicking me really hard in the head lately, and I’ve been struggling a lot with feeling “normal”. As I’m trying to learn, “normal” is really only a dryer setting, and should never be used to measure one’s own sanity.
In order to work on the positive in my life, as opposed to wallowing, I made a list. 10 things that made me happy, or provided tiny joys in my life. Here we go. Continue reading “10 Things That Make Me Happy”
