Back in January I did a post on some of my favorite teas, what I liked, and my favorite glass teapot. After that, a couple people recommended some other teas to me, one of them being Adagio Tea.
If you haven’t heard (or seen the ads on Pinterest), Adagio Tea is a tea company that sells a massive variety of tea as well as apparel and teaware and even tea cookies! Their teas come in loose leaf or teabag (if you aren’t into the loose leaf kind), and all sorts of insanely awesome flavors. Black, green, white, oolong, herbal, rooibos, decaf, matcha, and iced. You can make your own blends, choose from their massive list, or even find a blend of your favorite fandom! After scrolling endlessly through their website, I picked out some of their loose leaf tea blends and was completely blown away by the sheer amount of variety.
I picked out four of their sample packs, and then was happily surprised to discover two free samples on top of that! I also was given a $5 off coupon by a friend, so my final purshase came only to just less than $10 including shipping! I love a good deal, and THIS, made my week!
Rooibos Vanilla Chai
I gave this one a 3 out of 5 because the flavor was kind of dull. I was very dissapointed at first since this was the first one I tried, and I was afraid all the others would taste as blah as this one. The vanilla is very subtle, and I would almost want a little bit more flavor. Best with cream and sugar.
Currant
This one also got a 3 out of 5. I mentioned in my last post that I wanted a good currant flavored tea, and was really looking forward to trying this one out. A little bitter/sour, and needed quite a bit of sugar to make it suitable for me. A little cream wouldn’t have been bad either.
Blood Orange
This was was a definite 5 out of 5. Beautiful sweet orange aroma with almost a cranberry-ish taste to it. Very fruity and rich. This was a great blend, and I only added a bit of sugar to it.
Foxtrot
Dear Lord, have mercy, this one was AMAZING. Divine. If I could give it six stars, I would. This is a chamomile and cinnamon and vanilla blend. It is so soothing and makes you melt inside. I especially love the actual dried flowers in it.
Thai Chai
Kind of disappointed in this one, thus 2 out of 5. Very mellow for a chai, and I’ve thought about brewing it in milk instead of water. If you like mild, this might be more suited for you than it was for me.
Pisces Blend
This one I was super excited to try, as I’m a Pisces, and the summary of this tea summed me up pretty well:
Rooibos, white tea and black tea mixed with orange and grapefruit flavors will ease Pisces into their fantastical daydreams. Pisces love to get in touch with their creative and intuitive sides by curling up with a hot cup of tea. Chamomile, lemongrass and cornflowers are calming additions that help Pisces overcome their shyness and sensitivity.
This is a very mellow but flavorful tea, and the grapefruit is the first thing I smelled. It just needs a little bit of sugar to be the right flavor for me, and is so mellow. Great for a morning cup of tea.
All in all I was super impressed with Adagio tea and could very easily drop my whole paycheck on their products. Also, if you’re looking to get $5 off your order, message me and I shall email it to you. Happy Monday!
P.S. YOU GUYS THEY HAVE FANDOM BLENDS!!!!
